Lessons

Things I learned this week:

1. Montpelier is WAY to far to drive to on a daily basis- what was I thinking?

2. SPF SIG Grant data review makes my head hurt.

3. The drapes in my living room are sheer in the evening when I have the light on… sorry neighbors.

4. School Board Meetings attract an interesting crowd.

5. My new whistling teapot doesn’t whistle- but it’s purple so I forgive it.

6. The heat in my office “doesn’t exactly work”.

7. Floyd Nease, VT House Representative, not only has a good sense of humor- he wears pretty ties.

8.Ticks are shnasty- I knew this but was reminded.

9. Chuck Putney is a grant writing God and my new hero-his seminar was amazing.

10. Cabot sour cream is Gluten Free

11. I miss my Mac

No day like today

I am starting a blog today because more often than not I hear people talk about why they didn't do something- why it was the wrong day, or circumstance, or time of year to do whatever it is that they have been deliberating over.
I am starting today because I have mastered the art of being a dreamer and now it's time to be a doer.
